When he’s not on the field or on a job site, he enjoys smoking food, traveling abroad, and playing bass guitar—creative outlets that balance the demands of running a growing company. Most importantly, Bert values time with family, including his son Kam, who is a lead member of the LCR PDX team and plays a key role in carrying the company’s values forward.

Giving back is also central to Bert’s life and business philosophy. He’s deeply committed to supporting the Portland community, including initiatives like donating dozens of Thanksgiving turkeys to local homeless shelters. For Bert, being a good contractor goes hand in hand with being a good neighbor.
